Welcome to The World of 4G Telecom Technology

Fourth Generation networks or 4G is supposed to be the next big thing in digital wireless communications. It is being designed as a full IP-based integrated system made up of a number of diverse sub-systems and network of networks.

Typically, 4G will offer applications like wireless broadband access, MMS, video chat, mobile TV, high definition TV content and digital video broadcasting. Voice and date anytime and anywhere will be child’s play under 4G. 4G technology will offer downloads and upload speeds of 100 mbps while one is on the move and 1Gbps when indoor, anywhere in the world. It’s supposed to be a high-quality service that promises zero hiccups while you are connected. Time will tell how smooth it actually is? If that wasn’t enough, 4G wireless technologies will also offer increased security for all kinds of services anytime, anywhere, at affordable cost. This happens through the convergence of disparate wired networks and devices.

Technologists suggests 4G will also allow 3D virtual reality and interactive video/ hologram images. Globally, technologists and businessmen are still debating the pros and the cons of commercial as well as the technological aspects of 4G.

Blame it on the thorny issues of scarce 3G spectrum — both availability and pricing — which remain unresolved. Accordingly, though all self-respecting telcos from Bharti to Tata Tele to Reliance Communication to Hutch Essar are keen to get cracking on the 3G front, policy glitches have held up its much fancied arrival in India. So it’s time to look ahead, beyond 3G. Perhaps, it wasn’t pure coincidence that Motorola CTO Padmasree Warrior had suggested back in June 2006 that in a scenario where the world had moved to 3G, it would make more sense for India to leapfrog to 4G and wireless broadband technologies. “These are around 1.5 times more cost effective than the current Indian standard,” she had said.

But there’s some serious action on the 4G realm that India’s telecom policy makers are doubtless tracking. For instance, Japan’s NTT DoCoMo’s been reportedly conducting field trials of a 4G communications system prototype at 100 Mbps while moving, and 1 Gbbps while stationary.

So Beware!! we are heading in the right direction with advancing in Technology, but somebody please tell these politicians to Don't make that mess up again like 3G frequency band with these telecom business giants. so just stay away from this technology so that it will not get delayed like 3G.
Howzthattt...!! (tell me)

On Eve of 1st MAY , CM has assured people about Power Supply!!

JAI MAHARASHTRA !!!
On Eve of Maharashtra Din
Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh yesterday blamed the failed Enron project for the present power crisis in the state and said there were a slew of projects to resolve the crisis by 2009-10.

Maharashtra, from a power surplus state, had become a power deficit state in the last 10 years because of one project, Enron, he said.

Today, the state is facing a deficit of 6,000 MW, Deshmukh said at the inaugural session of a three-day conference, Maharashtra Vision: Mission-II.

The Chief Minister said he has a roadmap to fix this problem by 2009-10. "By the end of this year, Maharashtra would start receiving 2,000 MW of power."

Deshmukh said he has called for a meeting today to discuss the various measures that needed to be taken for tying up the power crisis.

Relating to investments in the state, the Chief Minister said his government would adopt the "red tapism to red carpet" approach by setting up a single window clearance system.

"The state needs balanced growth...Investors should look beyond Mumbai and Pune," he said adding that to support the investors, a single window clearance system was being worked out.

"We are in the draft stage of single window clearance system. If possible, we would bring it in the next assembly session," Deshmukh said at the conference organised by Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC).

At the end of the conference, MEDC would summarise the deliberations of the various sessions and forward it to the government for policy considerations.

On the octroi issue, Deshmukh said after May 15 he would call a meeting of all involved to discuss the issue.

He said a methodology would be evolved so that the interests of both the parties -- industries and the civic body are protected.
Should we believe again to this promise..?? I begged to politicians atleast at such case atleast come together and lift MAHARASHTRA from power crisis for future.. After all in today's world Electricity is one of major piller of states progress.
For god sake this time atleast follow your commitment.
what u say , GUYS...!!!
